I came across an article at fashionwiredaily.com that put me in mind of the post I did concerning the style of coats worn by Ashlee Simpson and Rose McGowan. This Converse by John Varvatos crinkled flannel men's trench coat, (left) seen at a Fall 2007 preview is very similar to a coat the author spotted in the past, Alber Elbaz designed for Lanvin from the 2004 season (right). (click on the thumbnail images for a bigger photo) As I said in the Simpson/Mcgowan style post,
this time of the year is great for those well-made, higher-end clothes sold at sale prices and the style is likely to be current in at least some aspects in years to come. In the mean time, I cant wait to get this blog up and running! Oh well, always late to the party…. source fashionwiredaily.com
