The Oscar red carpet arrivals are moments away and just as the glitz and glamour take work behind the scenes to have the whole event hum along smoothly, a website has to have the ‘engine’ behind what you see on a website run smoothly. I am far from a developer and have been working to rid the bugs from the software that powers this site. Let’s hope things work at least for a while….maybe then I’ll have the pictures up for the Academy Awards Red Carpet arrivals! Here are the red carpet pictures from the 2008 Screen Actors Guild Awards as a test run.

Great lets focus on a bunch of designer dresses while the rest of the world is either fighting wars or battling warlords of the distribution of free food. Thanks for posting an article about a bunch of worthless cloth.

Seriously????
Because people participate in some form of leisure or distraction does not mean that those same people do not also have serious concerns and act accordingly. Yes there are some people who are totally consumed with trivia and celebrity but that is not the case with most people. I assure you I have real concerns in both my personal life and in regard to world affairs.
I do not believe that there are many formats on the Internet that are suitable for serious discourse. All kinds of anonymous sorts come out of the woodwork. There is a marketing technique of submitting controversial comments to gain links to one’s website. I don’t know if that is why you posted this comment or are you really serious.
I would guess that you are not at this moment in the desert in sack cloth so you must pursue some form of leisure… because really????
